General Collection of The Ancient Music of Ireland
Linen Hall Library facsimile reprint, 2012
This elegant hardback facsimile reprint is of Bunting's second collection, originally published in 1809. For this reprint, the Linen Hall Library in Belfast has selected a unique 1811 re-issue from their collections. The book is presented as a high quality crafted hardback, with quarter-cloth binding. The large format of the book copies the size of the original, with pages 36cm tall. It is numbered 30 out of an edition of only 225 copies. I have one secondhand copy available for sale, in overall very good condition, a couple of light marks on the front cover, and the whole book slightly bowed (as is usual for craft-made hardbacks of this style).

The Ancient Music of Ireland
Hodges & Smith, Dublin, 1840
Available for sale is a first edition copy of this important source book. This is an ex-library copy, and has stamps and labels to the front endpapers, and stamps to the title pages. The spine has been replaced, with the original backstrip glued down onto the replacement spine. The boards, embossed green cloth with gilt harp and shamrock designs, are quite worn and water-damaged, but the inside of the book is pretty clean and in good condition - only a little water damage at some page edges. One of the tunes has a handwritten annotation in a 19th century hand. All the plates and pages are present as far as I can see, including the three plates of the Trinity College harp.
