This rare and valuable work describes Scotland's two surviving historical Gaelic harps, and attempts to understand their playing and music. Includes much detail from family papers since lost, and three lovely engraved plates.
A free online facsimile is available, reproduced from a copy owned by St Francis Xavier University in Canada, and digitised by Aindrias Hiort.
The edition offered for sale here is a computer CD containing a printable PDF facsimilie, published by Scotdisc in 2005.
