Dominick O’Donnell (fl. c.1790s-1811)<

We have no information about his harp. I intend to look at the notations of his tunes to get some idea of what his harp might have been like. It is clear that it was probably a large high-headed Irish harp with over 30 brass strings. We don't know if he played in the old fashioned styke with long fingernails, or the more up to date finger tip style. He probably played with his left hand in the treble and his right in the bass.
